Austen Charity Day for MND Association
This month, we enjoyed our first charity event of the academic year, as Austen House raised awareness and support for the MND Association through a non-uniform day, bake sale, and a range of lunchtime games and activities. Students in Austen selected the MND Association as their chosen charity this year because of its vital work in improving care, funding research, and campaigning for people affected by motor neurone disease (MND).
While the final total is still being calculated, it looks as though we have raised more than £3,500. Thank you to our entire school community for your generosity, enthusiasm, and kind support in making the day such a success.
