Mayor visits CGS
We were delighted to welcome Cllr Parveiz Aslam MBE, Mayor of Chesham, to Chesham Grammar School. As a former CGS parent, it was a pleasure to hear updates about his family, with two of his children having attended the school.
During the visit, we discussed ways in which CGS can continue to strengthen its links with the local community and play an active role in the life of the town. As the only state school in Chesham to bear the town's name, these connections are particularly important to us.
We were also honoured to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor in recognition of our services to the Chesham community, an acknowledgement of which we are incredibly proud.
