Alumni inspire students during Green Careers Week
We were delighted to welcome back three former CGS students as part of Green Careers Week, delivered in partnership with GE Vernova.
Thank you to Ellie and Kieran (Class of 2016) and Fiona (Class of 2014), who returned to share their career journeys and provide students with an insight into the many opportunities available within the sustainability and environmental sectors.
Students heard about three very different career pathways. Ellie spoke about her work in the non-profit sector, helping to protect and restore freshwater habitats; Kieran shared his experience as a sustainability consultant, supporting organisations to reduce their environmental impact; and Fiona discussed her role within the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, contributing to international climate change policy.
It was wonderful to welcome them back to CGS, celebrate their achievements, and give them the opportunity to catch up with some of their former teachers.
